Oklahoma Healthy Brain Initiative (OHBI) Coalition Meeting

Join us for the October meeting of the Oklahoma Healthy Brain Initiative Coalition! 

Our main presentation topic will be Fraud and Risk in Older Adults, presented by Meadow Hazelhoff, MSW, LCSW who serves as Director of Behavioral Health & Special Populations for the Oklahoma Primary Care Association. I'm glad we'll be able to dedicate more time than usual to this topic during our meeting, because it is a devastating issue for many older adults. This presentation will not only discuss fraud among older adults, but will also discuss the aftereffects and risk for self-harm after a fraud incident. The presentation will be followed by a group discussion about how we can better address these issues in our communities. 

We will wrap up the meeting with a BOLD program update. We have just completed Year 3 of the grant and are starting year 4, so I'm excited to share our progress and new goals with you all.
